How to Choose an Apple Developer Account: Individual vs Organization and a Delivery Checklist Telegram @google898
An Apple Developer account purchase should not be judged only by payment confirmation and login screenshots. Before buying, identify whether the membership is for an individual or an organization, verify membership and team permissions on the Apple Developer website, and check th

GuGeDev苹果开发者指南How to Choo…App Store · 会员与交付@google898Before making a purchase, do not assume that a ready-made Apple Developer account means you are finished once you receive a username and password. Ask the provider whether it is delivering a newly registered account, access to an existing account, or assistance with completing the official registration. Sign in to the Apple Developer website to verify the membership, team members, certificates, and identifiers. Then separately check the apps, builds, testing, and release status in App Store Connect. These two systems handle different parts of the process, and a normal page in one cannot replace verification in the other. When deciding between an individual and organization membership, consider the actual applicant rather than the terminology used by customer service. An individual should use their own Apple Account and accurate identity information. An organization should use an email address and contact details it controls and prepare its organization name, address, D-U-N-S Number, and a contact authorized to enter into agreements on its behalf, as required by the official enrollment page. If Apple requests additional documentation, the applicant should submit genuine information directly. Do not use another person's identity, forge supporting documents, or attempt to bypass identity verification. Check fees and delivery commitments separately. The Apple Developer Program membership fee, renewal amount, and eligibility requirements must be confirmed on Apple's official enrollment or renewal pages. A price quoted by online customer service is the provider's commercial quote and may include registration assistance, role configuration, or publishing services. Request a breakdown of the services, term, refund conditions, and whether any additional service fees apply. If a quote differs from the official page, do not pay solely on the basis of verbal promises such as app approval guaranteed or removal from the App Store guaranteed. Complete the registration process in the correct order: first finish the Program enrollment and identity or organization verification, then confirm that the membership is active. Next, the Account Holder should invite team members and assign their roles. After that, create the Bundle ID, certificates or signing configuration, and App Store Connect app record. Delivery should include more than account credentials. The person who will use the account should be able to sign in with their own Apple Account, have the roles required for the work, and see the appropriate team and app. For organization changes or an Account Holder transfer, both the departing and receiving teams should complete their respective confirmations. Once the app enters testing and release, continue the verification in App Store Connect. After uploading a build, confirm that it has been processed and correctly linked to the app. Configure TestFlight testers and feedback as required, then complete the privacy information, release notes, screenshots, and review contact details for the store version. An active membership confirms only that the membership is in good standing. It does not mean that a build has been processed successfully, that a version is ready for submission, or that Apple has approved its release. When an error occurs, retain the on-screen message, exact error text, build number, and time it occurred so that signing, agreement, metadata, and review issues can be distinguished. The three delivery boundaries are easily confused. Being able to sign in proves only that access is available. Being able to create an app proves only that the required team role is active. Seeing an upload succeed means only that the file has been submitted. For either an individual or organization membership, verify the applicant entity, team roles, target app, target build, and outstanding release tasks. If the purchase is advertised as a ready-made account, confirm whether it refers to an existing app, a team-member seat, or organization details. If the provider cannot identify the corresponding location in the relevant backend and explain its ownership status, screenshots alone should not be accepted as proof of delivery. Before submission or acceptance, perform one final item-by-item review: confirm that the membership is within its validity period and that no identity or organization verification remains outstanding;
check the Account Holder and relevant team-member roles; verify that the Bundle ID, certificates, provisioning profiles, and App IDs match;
confirm that the privacy information, agreements, metadata, and version status in App Store Connect are complete;
and confirm that the build number belongs to the intended version. For renewals, transfers, or third-party services, retain the official page status, payment receipts, service agreement, and confirmations from both parties. Finally, sign in to the relevant backend again and review the actual status rather than relying only on a submission-success message or verbal confirmation from the provider.
