Where should the registration fee be verified?

Go to the account registration and payment page in Google Play Console, and use the currency and amount displayed there. Google's public Play Help materials describe the registration fee as a one-time fee for creating a developer account. Public materials often list it as approximately USD 25, and it is not an annual membership fee. A customer-service or account service provider's quote, including a Telegram inventory quote, should be recorded and confirmed separately. Do not combine it with Google's official registration fee or treat it as a substitute for the amount shown on the payment page. Before buying an account, first confirm whether it is a personal account or an organization account. In Play Console, check the entity type, display name, and verification status on the account details and organization verification pages. An organization account represents a company or institution. After the required organization verification is completed, the store may display the organization's name and the account can support inviting members to help manage it. An "unlisted organization account" merely means that the account is not yet linked to a published app;

it does not prove the account's source, ownership, or verification status. When checking with the seller, explicitly ask for the account type, entity name, region, and verification status. How can you verify ownership when buying a Google developer account?

Ask the seller to identify the developer account email, the identity-verified individual or organization entity, linked apps, current members, and outstanding tasks. The seller should also provide the verification status visible in the backend and any officially permitted ownership-transfer or authorization path. If there are existing apps, ask whether they remain managed under the seller's entity and whether new versions can still be submitted. Do not pay based only on oral claims such as "organization account" or "ready for publishing." Do not borrow another person's identity, forge supporting documents, or use a shared account from an unknown source to evade verification requirements. Why might you still be unable to publish formally after registration is complete?

Return to the publishing overview, app page, and policy status in Play Console to see whether there are closed-testing tasks. Some newer personal developer accounts see a relevant requirement before they can release to all users. The community figures of around 12 testers for approximately 14 consecutive days are based on experience rather than a universal rule;

the tester count, duration, and applicable conditions must follow the current prompts in your console. Complete the testing genuinely as required;

there is no compliant way to skip it. What sequence should you follow for an actual release?

After account registration and main entity verification are complete, open app management in the console and create the app. Fill in the store listing details and app content, then configure internal testing, closed testing, or open testing according to the console's requirements. Confirm that the tester list, test version, and review status are active and have taken effect. Then enter the production release page and select the target version and release scope. Work through each item under the publishing overview's policy status, version status, and outstanding tasks. Passing testing does not mean that release to all users has already been permitted. How can you minimize rework when submitting organization verification documents?

Use the document checklist on the organization verification page. Confirm that the company or institution's legal name, address, contact information, and other supporting documents are accurate and valid, and ensure that entity names are consistent throughout. Required documents may differ by region and entity type. Do not copy another seller's document template or submit files that have been altered or do not match the console's requirements. After submission, retain the document checklist, page status, and operation time so that you can provide specific missing items if needed. What checks should you complete before paying or submitting a version?

Confirm that the payment page shows success and keep the receipt. Check that the account entity and verification status are consistent, that the actual account holder controls the developer email and contact information, and that the app and store listing entity match. During testing, verify that testers have joined and that the test version is active. During release, check that the policy page has no unresolved items and that the target version and member permissions are correct. Avoid submitting multiple items at the same time, as this can make problems difficult to isolate. What should you do if the status does not change or an error appears again?

Return to the publishing overview, target version page, and policy status to confirm the current progress. Save the exact error message, when it occurred, and the relevant version information. If the status has just been updated, wait as directed by the console rather than repeatedly resubmitting. If the issue concerns only testing, listing information, or permissions, change only the relevant stage. In an account purchase, also verify that the member list matches the actual collaborators and that the linked apps are as expected. Require the seller to explain any remaining issues through verifiable backend status.
