The Apple Developer Program annual fee should be confirmed on the Membership page after you sign in. Personal and organization enrollments require different information, and buyers should distinguish Apple's official membership fee from third-party service charges while verifying

First sign in to the Apple Developer website and go to Account > Membership. There you can review your membership status, expiration date, renewal option, and payment history. For app, build, TestFlight, or submission status, use App Store Connect. If an error appears, save the exact wording from the page, the time it occurred, and the legal entity under which the account is registered. Do not mistake a membership issue for an app review issue. Should you choose a personal or organization account?
Decide before registering. Personal identity and organization identity are separate enrollment types. Organization enrollment requires you to verify the information of a legitimate legal entity, provide its D-U-N-S number, complete identity verification, and supply the organization's responsible contact details. A personal account cannot simply be converted into an organization account later, so confirming the registrant before you buy can prevent the need to re-register. Team members join through invitations and role permissions;
neither a shared email address nor a payment record proves that delivery is complete. Which amount should be treated as the official annual fee?
Use only the official membership fee and renewal amount displayed after sign-in on the Membership enrollment, payment, or renewal page. At the same time, check the billing period, expiration date, and payment status. Apple's official membership fee, any taxes that may later apply through App Store Connect, and third-party purchasing or agency service charges are separate items. A price quoted by online support or an agent represents only that service package and cannot replace the membership fee shown on Apple's official page. When buying through a third party, "in stock" is only a trading term and cannot serve as proof of membership status. Before placing an order, ask the seller to specify the account's registrant, the Account Holder, the membership validity period, whether the account will be registered directly under your identity, and which services are included in the quote. If a service provider handles the enrollment on your behalf, also confirm that the final login access, app permissions, and entity information will belong to the party you specified. Do not accept an account from an unknown source, hand over control of your verification codes, or submit forged documents or fabricated organization materials. After payment, verify delivery against the account's actual usable status. Return to the Account page and confirm that the membership is active, the expiration date is correct, and the personal or organization information is accurate. On the team members page, confirm the relevant users and roles. Sign in to App Store Connect to check that app records are accessible, agreements have been accepted, and tax and banking information is complete wherever charges apply. If an organization or Account Holder transfer is involved, follow Apple's official transfer process and confirm that both parties complete the acceptance steps shown on the page. An active membership does not mean an app can be published immediately. Developers must also verify the App ID, signing capabilities, version build number, and upload status;
configure TestFlight groups and testers as needed;
and prepare the app version, store listing information, and materials required for review. During testing, complete internal or closed testing in accordance with Apple's official requirements. Do not fabricate testing records, bypass required review, or submit someone else's build as your own. Before submitting, review each essential item: the membership must still be active, the person operating the account must have the required role, the app record and Bundle ID must match, the build and signing must be working correctly, and pages for privacy information, screenshots, contact details, and other required data must be complete. Check whether any agreements, tax information, or banking information still require action. If the team has many members, also make sure the permissions of the Account Holder, administrators, and developers are not mixed up, so that a submitter can see the page but is not actually authorized to perform the action. How can you confirm that delivery is complete after the work is finished?
Sign in to both portals again rather than relying only on a successful payment or an email reply. The account page should show an active membership and the correct legal entity, with team membership and roles managed normally. App Store Connect should show the correct app, build, and version status;
TestFlight groups should be accessible as configured;
and the actual post-submission status should match expectations. For a transfer, the new team must also confirm that it can access existing apps, members, and builds before submitting the next version. Need help with the account type, fee breakdown, or delivery checks?
